Baltic Wood Flooring

Baltic is our collection of European oak multilayer engineered flooring boards that we supply as standard in three popular widths - 140mm, 180mm and 220mm. The 6mm hardwood wear layer is cut from a fresh sawn solid oak (Quercus Robur) board and slowly kiln dried. The 9-core multilayer base is exclusively Birch (no mixed species) for increased resistance and stability and the oak surface itself is bevelled on all four edges to enhance the plank effect feature of the floor. We brush and stain the oak layer to your desired finish and colour (or leave natural, if preferred) and then apply a protective coating of hardwax oil to finish.

Aged and distressed surface finishes are also possible for greater distinction and character. Colour co-ordinated solid oak finishing profiles are also available to enhance the final look of the installation and as always, tailored colouring and finishing options are available.
